Today, having to get engagement party gifts is a common occurrence; as for modern weddings, this is one of the three main celebrations to honor couples, with the other two celebrations being the bridal shower, and of course, the wedding. In some cases there may also be a rehearsal dinner, as well as a brunch and bachelor party.
